had to use recipes from our families, traditions and cultures to create a new recipe that has never been made before my group that consisted of Ariana Timothy and Hilden created sweet potato cheesecake dip which is basically cream cheese mixed together with powdered sugar, pumpkin spice, brown sugar,etc. This project was very fun to engaging and it gave me an IVthis project was very fun to engaging and it gave me an iview into everybody else else’s culture what they call certain things what they eat, etc
For my geometry class, we were given an assignment to make a poster using a cube to bring awareness to a "food for thought" issue. I decided to make mine about food obesity because it’s a serious problem that affects a lot of people. I designed my cube with each side showing different facts, causes, and effects of obesity, like how unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercise contribute to it. I also included tips for healthy living and visuals to help get the message across. It was a creative way to connect math and real-world issues, and I liked being able to use geometry to raise awareness about something important
Kim fast is a class that makes his chemistry in art in this class. We made pottery that represented food. My group was more focused on the exchange so we make up plates and platters that were embedded withpatterns that represent things from the Columbian exchange. We were given the opportunities to sell our pottery for money and it was an all-around great experience.
For the food for thought project in chemistry, we were told to explore food deserts in our community and we act either right a video script or something to represent that desert and spread awareness about it. My group talked about food deserts in America what it is obesity, rate food, scare city of nature.
