For my pathway I decided to do dance. I have been active in dance since I was at the the ripe age of 3. I did take 2 years off to explore other concepts and as you can see I landed right back to the heart of dance. This video is a dance combination that was taught to us to see our levels of dance.

The foundation of all dance in ballet, It provides the technical skills needed to be a technical dancer. Orginated in italy not France. Throughout the year our teacher made sure we knew the terminology and practiced bar Wednesdays and Fridays

Along with ballet and and lyrical we also explored the world of Jazz. In this video you will see that are teacher was not only supportive of our journey but a key parttaker.

Hamilton Solo

After all those classes we end up having the ooportuiny to showcase our skills to an audience. In this class we were given a guest choregrapher and auditions to not only me in the dance but have solos. Due to the technical skills, and confidence inputted into us I not only took part in the dance but gained the lead role as Hamiltion.

Upon many other things Ms. Young gave us the previelege to create and showcase our own choreography. Myself among classmates ( Ariana H. Mayci O. and Jordyn H. ) Created a jazz dance to song: "Fergalicious".

EOY. Student Choreo

Continuing our previelege to express our creative talents my dancemates and I created our EOY. dance for our 9th grade award ceremony to song: "Sign of the times". This video shows part of the dance we made. it was recorded to see how it would look.
