For my World Literature class, we had to make a video about an ancient civilization, and I chose to create a fictional story about how Rome was born. Instead of just retelling the traditional legend of Romulus and Remus, I put my own creative twist on it by making a short film that showed a hidden tribe coming together to build what would eventually become Rome. I used costumes, props, and voiceovers to bring the story to life, and made sure to include elements from Roman culture and mythology. It was a fun way to combine creativity
For my World Literature class, we created a PSA (Public Service Announcement) about the dangers of vaping. My group and I researched the harmful effects it can have on teens, like lung damage and addiction, and we turned that information into a powerful video message. We used real facts, visuals, and a strong voiceover to show how vaping is marketed to young people and the serious health risks that come with it. The goal was to inform and influence our classmates to make healthier choices. It was a great way to combine what we were learning about persuasive writing with a real-world issue that affects people our age.
