About Your Drew Experience

Attending Charles R. Drew Charter School has been such a meaningful part of my life, and the more I reflect on it, the more I realize how fortunate I am to be part of this community. The environment is welcoming and supportive. Everyone is approachable, and it’s easy to find someone who’s willing to listen or lend a hand. The teachers and staff genuinely care, not just about how you’re doing in class, but about you as a person. Drew offers opportunities that most students don’t get access to, like innovative programs, creative projects, and experiences that prepare us for life beyond school. I’ve built friendships here that go all the way back to kindergarten, and growing up with the same people has created a sense of connection that’s hard to find anywhere else. I didn’t choose Drew, but in a way, Drew chose me, and I’m really thankful it did. It has shaped who I am in ways I’ll carry with me long after I graduate.
