In this project, my partner and I worked together to showcase the movement of electrons. I chose pink and orange, she chose blue and green. The weaving shows the transfer of electrons. This specific image showcases and Ionic bound. This bound is shown by using different colors and different ways of weaving the paper.
In this project we created a piece of poetry from Africa the country of our choice that related it to the Columbian exchange. We made a shell and bowl because we felt that both connected to the exchange the shell showcasing the trade by ocean and the bowl relating to African poetery mainly for significance of color. The color green showcases in many African tribes prosperity and health of nature. and is an important color in many African flags.
I think Mandalas show up in different cultures to show or represent that they can be a way to express many things. We adapted our Mandala for this project by adding new colors and shapes. The symbols we used are the sun/moon, bows, nature, crosses, arrows, and tornados we included all of these things because they signified important objects or things in each of our lives. Our Mandala shows pattern, color, and repetition when it comes to the principle of design. We did a good job making our Mandal but we could have put more emphasis on our artwork
The Experimenting with Lines assignment was assigned to us to allow us to test out and create our own art work only using lines. During this assignment we were able to see the different prespectives/represantions classmates had using these lines, thus allowing for a safe free enviorment to express ones prespective.
