I've been a student at Drew Charter School since kindergarten, and overall, my experience has been incredibly positive.
In elementary school, my teachers were always supportive, patient, and attentive to my needs, especially when I struggled with subjects like reading comprehension or math. Their encouragement made a big difference in my learning. I was also fortunate to have great friends who made school a fun and welcoming place.
One thing I truly appreciated about Drew was how the school handled learning during the pandemic. Even through virtual classes, they found creative ways to keep us engaged with fun, meaningful projects while ensuring we stayed on track academically and were fully prepared for the next steps.
High school has been a great experience so far. I’ve formed strong friendships and discovered new interests that I hope to pursue beyond graduation. I’ve also built meaningful relationships with many of the staff at Drew—they’ve supported me both inside and outside the classroom, and I’m incredibly grateful for their guidance.
Drew Charter has given me so many opportunities and has played a big role in helping me grow into the person I am today.
