Performance Task
For our end of the year exam in AP Computer Science, one of the tasks we had to complete was a Performance Task. First, we created a Survival Guide, which served as a draft to help us plan and outline what we wanted to code for the task. For the Performance Task, we had to design a program of our choice using the skills we learned throughout the year. This included incorporating an algorithm that used functions, parameters, selection, and more. After completing our program, we uploaded it to our digital portfolio on the College Board website. In addition to uploading the program, we also submitted our algorithm in a Google Document, which was also uploaded to College Board.
In AP Computer science we started working on our first performace task. For our peroformance task we had to create a program/game on codeHS. The program is supposed to tell a short story about anything we want to create.For my Tell a Story, I decided to create a story about the solar system. From there, after we finished our program we were supposed to respond to some AP Exam Written Response Questions about the different inputs, algorithms, and functions we used in our program.
