In this collage of images, I wanted to display important facets of my identity. I started with an image of myself in the center to show that all of the things surrounding me are related to who I am. I added an image of my little sister because my relationship with her and my being a big sister are important parts of who I am. I incorporated the Chinese flag because my Chinese heritage is important to me and my family history. I blended in the bisexual flag and the blue ribbon represents the awareness color of my arm disability. I added in a part of my artwork because creating art and being an artist is an important part of who I am. I also added the symbol of being female. This collage gives a snapshot of how I identify myself to the rest of the world.
We created a bike safety video that reviewed different rules of the road and how cyclists can be safe and smart.
I am white and Chinese, disabled, atheist, bisexual, and female. I have lived my whole life with a disability and I have recently come to terms with my sexuality. I dye my hair a new color every few months and I am an artist.
