Synthesis Essay 1: Write an  essay that synthesizes material from at least three sources and develops your position on the historical accuracy of Miller's portrayal of Tituba. My thesis was Arthur Miller did not portray Tituba accurately and I used The Crucible, What is a Witch, and The Trial of Tatabe.

For this essay my claim was that Arthur Miller wrote The Crucible because of his connection to John Proctor and his genuine interest in writing about this period.
