When we did the skittles lab we had to come up with a hypothesis on how many skittles of what color would be in the bag. In the end, we found that there were only 2 skittles out of 20.
In this lab, we had to make a smore treat and figure out whether each step was a chemical or physical change. I made the hypothesis that the marshmallow and chocolate will melt together and the cracker will stay hard.
When we made our bohr models, we had to find a way to model the electron, neutrons, and protons in our elements. I used small pieces of paper around my model to represent the electrons
For this project we had to do a drawing of something that uses our element. My element was gold so I did a picture of a woman wearing a gold medal to show how my element is used in the real world.
Historical and cultural contexts have shaped scientific discoveries because the educational opportunities in science when the periodic table was created enabled a broad range of scientists, even those from various social backgrounds and classes, to contribute to developing and understanding the periodic table.
