What art means to me. Art is music to me because it gives me something I can't get all the time. Music uses instruments, key changes, sounds, lyrics, and more to do the same. Music is a an art. It lends itself easily to alliances with words, as in song, and with physical movement, as in dance. History can be used as art because it has different music cultures that we learn not just African American music.
