Driving Question: How can understanding the achievements and cultural legacies of ancient civilizations help us appreciate and preserve the diverse cultures that shape our world today?
For this entry event, we went outside with bamboo to make bamboo structures, and with mud to make mud bricks. We then wrote this reflection:
I think I could survive in an early Neolithic society thanks to my skills in tying knots and using tools. I'd be able to build my own home.
This connects to World History because of what we’ve studied. It is also tied to World Literature because our activities were similar to the lifestyles described in the Epic of Gilgamesh.
I attended Dad’s Garage Acting Class, which helped me understand how to bring my characters to life. The exercises and feedback from instructors improved my approach to directing the actors.

Filming and editing took place over these weeks. Each day brought new challenges and exciting moments as we captured various scenes, and I began piecing them together in the editing software.
