We recored a video on why we should stop gun violence
In chemistry class, I illustrated the bull from Guernica using stress-related chemicals, such as cortisol, to represent the emotional weight of the Spanish Civil War. People during that time experienced powerful emotions—fear, anger, hope, and grief—as the war tore apart families and left lasting psychological scars. In my artwork, I used sharp lines and bold shapes around the bull to express stress and movement. This project helped me understand the connection between art and science. By studying the brain chemicals that influence our emotions, we can gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and the impact of historical events.
