Use this sticker as you seek understanding of the assignment or problem. Typically this will come from the community, your instructor, or your own observation. You must completely understand the objectives of the project to be successful, so this step is crucial. Develop active listening skills! Entry events for a project are usually a great place to start!
Use this sticker as you examine a problem from all angles. Ask questions, observe people, situations, and artifacts. Develop empathy for the problem that people facing the situation are experiencing. Find out what you know and what you need to know. Explore all of it!
Use this sticker as you are discussing and exploring ideas for how to solve a problem. Record these ideas quickly. Ideas may come in the form of graphic organizers, notes, drawings, outlines, or video blogs. Remember to seek feedback before progressing to the next step (then use the Evaluation/Modification sticker).
Use this sticker as you share your more formal ideas--3-d prototypes, mock-ups, drafts, skits, simulations, and storyboards. Remember to seek feedback before progressing to the next step (then use the Evaluation/Modification sticker).
Use this sticker when you are evaluating your decisions at each step in the process. When you note a user’s feedback also note what you intend to do about it going forward.
Use this sticker to explain how you are trying your prototype with real users. Try it out and note the way it performs and is understood by a real audience. Explain methodology and note observations.
CHEMVAS ART
DR.KURT
In art class, we were able to make flat wash and gradient wash using techniques that was provided for us. To make the flat wash (left) we used ink only to make it appear more darker while on the other side, (gradient wash (right)) we used water and only a little bit of ink to make it appear more gradient and less dark
In Dr.Kurt's art class, we made ink. First we did an edpuzzle to learn more about ink and how to make it then we proceeded to make our ink but making soot which we put a spoon above the candle to turn the spoon black, then we put all of the soot that our group did into a cup, we added gum extract, and alcohol. Once we mixed those 3 product, and it turned into ink, we made art work which was ACCMP which is the first letter of all of our group members name.

In Dr. Kurt's class, we were put into groups to make paper, the steps of this group assignment was to tear the pieces of paper up and blend them in the blender wit two thirds cups of water, next we used a drain to shape it. Lastly, we put out the extra water and let it dry. Chemistry is involved in papermaking because it helps break down plant fibers, and improve the paper's quality. Hand-made paper can be an art form because it allows for creativity in texture, color ,shape and materials.
1/28/25
In our groups, we used blueberries, rubber bands, cloth and vinegar. We had to choose between blueberries and cabbage to decode the color. We ended up choosing blueberries, we the used vinegar t make the color lighter and once we were satisfied, we dunked put cloth in once we folded it 12 times to get our pattern. The dye chemically bonded to the fibber in the cloth, making sure that when you wash it, the color doesn't come out.
1/14/25
In Dr. Kurt's class, we were asked to get a piece of cardboard and yarn to show covalent or ionic bonding. Through this process, we used the pencil to slide the yarn thoough the cardboard usig thhe under and over method or the over and uder method.
1/9/25
In ChemVas Art class with Dr.Kurt, we were able to make weaving bonds with a partner. We were asked to get with a partner, weave paper and model covalent and ionic bonding depending on the color of paper. Ionic bonding has opposite/complementary colors while covalent bonding has a strand representing an electron through the work. In the picture to the left, my partner and I, chose ionic bonding . We chose these colors by looking at the color wheel and finding out which colors were opposite from each other.
I believe cultural and historical context played a major role in shaping scientific discoveries, especially in the development of the periodic table. Most of the credited contributors were white men from Europe, which reflects the lack of diversity in science at the time. If these discoveries had come from people in different regions or cultural backgrounds, the periodic table might have developed differently. I also believe that if a woman had made the same discoveries, her work likely wouldn’t have received the same recognition due to gender bias.
In this project, I combined STEAM subjects in this project by incorporating art, including the colors and different shapes and I incorporated math by drawing the different lines, shapes, triangles, and right angles. From this project, I learned more about my element including the boiling point, melting point, and even what my element is used for and how it is helpful. My creativeness came into place when I had to think about a drawing that would symbolize my element. My element was californium and I came up with oil exploration. My drawing looks like 2 triangles, with a radioactive symbol in the middle, with clouds, birds in the air. My drawing also has my element name, element symbol, and number. The principles of Design that are most important to my work is repetition, movement and variety. I used these to make them look god by putting them in a specific way and order.
This Mandala is from India from the first century B.C.E. Mandala's are used for many different things including meditation, decoration or to practice gratitude. They show up in different parts of world civilizations because they are believed to show different aspects of the universe. The principals of designs I see are patterns, repetition, and variety.
This was a project from Dr. Kurt's class where we were given an element and try to draw an image that related to our element. My element was Seaborgium and for my picture I used Scientific Research, because seaborgium is a helpful to scientific research.
This assignment was to help us learn more about texture and creating value. With learning how to do this we viewed a drawing that Van Gogh had created and commented on what type of texture, lines, and values we saw in his drawing and tried to replicate his drawing with similar lines , textures and values.
This week we learned about Color Theory. With this introduction to color theory, we made an assignment on making our own colors and putting them in a specific category that we came up with. This assignment was really fun and I would like to continue practicing with color theory.
This assignment was from ChemVas Art Clas, this assignment was to have us experiment with shapes and see if we could use lines trying to create movement without trying to delete any shapes or lines from the previouss slideshow.
This assignment was assigned from ChemVas Art class, where we learned more about Sol Lewitt's wall drawings and how people experienced with his given directions. This showed how people see things differently and how people can add their own twists to simple things and make it their own style of art.
In my mindset, I think art is a form or way to express yourself to others in many different and unique ways. Many people have different ways to express art by adding their own twist to the item they want to project. It's important to add your own twist to your form of art, because without adding yourself to it, it's just a plain item. With this, this comes with feedback. The feedback usually differs between good feedback and bad feedback depending on how others see it. I think one subject that can be art could be math, specifically algebra. I think this because algebra typically deals with shapes, and there is many ways you can project shapes to make it art, and art usually use shapes.
AP COMPUTER SCIENCE
MRS.ROSS
This is a codehs.com assignment assigned from my AP computer science class where I had to write down an action that I perform on a daily basis, and try to make it to a high level to a low level. A high level is describing things with little to no detail while a low level is describing things with a lot of details. For this assignment I did brushing my teeth from beginning to end.

The Interactive Choice Board is a fun and flexible way to help students plan and practice our programming projects. This is menu of mini projects that I can choose from to explore concepts like input, output, lists, loops, or algorithms.
The conduct a survey was a mini project where we were ask to pair up with a partner, and gather/collect data with our personal choice we wanted to know about. My partner choose politics for a question and google forms as our way to collect data.
WORLD LITERATURE
MS.WYNN
In our ancient civilization chart, my group and I were heavily focused on ancient China civilization. In our document we were told to write about China's geography, religion, achievements, politics, economics and their community.
A project team contract is an agreement upon everyone doing their part, staying focused and putting everyone's thoughts into consideration. Our video part is supposed to be 5 minutes, so this is a team contract on my group and I making sure we abide by the rules for our 5 minute video.
In World Literature class, we are working on writing our own 5 minute movie that involves any of the civilizations that we learned in World History. This assignment we learned about the different steps that go into a plot diagram and how we can use our knowledge for our movie and put it into the steps of the plot diagram.
This is my group and I's script in order for us to present the most fun and appriate vieo for this project.
