My groups collage was made by comparing Odysseus's long journey to the journey that many soldiers were forced to take during wars. Both of them tried to survive so that they could go home even though people in greater power than them wanted to keep them from returning. Odysseus and the soldiers both leave their homes for many years and as time goes on things change at their homes and their memories become faded.
My Quarantine Experience: Has this quarantine/distance learning/COVID-19 experience changed you, and have you learned any lessons from this?
I have learned in quarantine to appreciate my friends and going outside to festivals, so now when its over I will definitely go out and do everything that I take for granted. Before quarantine I would stay home some weekends because I have been at school all week. Now I miss school and my friends and I learned that you need to appreciate something while you have it because you never know when it will leave you. So now i just wanna live life to the fullest and appreciate everything.

9th grade Spanish Project: La Naturaleza
La Naturaleza is our end of year Spanish project. We made a google slide presentation on a Spanish speaking cities nature. My city that I chose was Barcelona, Spain. In my slides I talked about natural disasters, the climate, and nice places to visit in Spanish and included two photo examples on each slide.
