With a world class team now coalesced around OpenDroneMap (ODM), what are the opportunities and challenges in the near and mid-term, and what are the long term goals?
As ODM matures in its 12th year as a project, this presentation will serve as a retrospective, state of the art, and prospective exploration of free and open source photogrammetry as provided by OpenDroneMap.

TNN 911 project update
North River Geographic Systems, Inc. built a system that combines the best in Free and Open Source Software that meets the State of Tennessee NG911 Standard.
This presenttaion gives an overview of the latest updates. Tennessee has a fairly robust 911 program. The data is defined in a pdf, tools are provided by the state for 911 data collection, and it all is synced into an ESRI Enterprise database. Which means - it's a perfect candidate to rework in QGIS and PostGIS. Over the last few years two counties have moved to an open source stack to manage their address data. Ultimately, this is a giant database problem. Luckily advances with the toos have allowed us to seamlessly deliver data to the TN 911 Enterprise database.

Randal Hale is owner operator of North River Geographic Systems, Inc. He’s been in the Geospatial Industry for far too long. He also hates talking in the third person. He’s currently on the board for a few organizations around the US (TNGIC, OSGEO US, and QGIS US). In my spare time I tend to go canoeing, possibly map something in OpenStreetMap, or go for increasingly long walks. We should go canoeing sometime.
