Supplies Tip:
With water bubblers closed, it would be very helpful for students to have their own re-useable water bottles. Water Bottles with a straw are even better!!

When students come back into the classroom in a few short weeks, they will be wearing a mask a lot longer than they are currently used to. It may be helpful to start wearing a mask at home during certain activities to help them get somewhat used to wearing a mask for longer periods of time. Of course we will be taking mask breaks at school, but it will be a new and very different experience for us all!
Set up a designated home learning area for your student with minimal or no distractions! This will help them stay focused on their school work! When they are done for the day, leaving this space and "closing it up" will help signify the end of the school day.
Encourage Breaks!! When your child is at school, we take breaks often. This could include having a snack, moving their body, or walking away from the computer screen! Fourth graders need frequent breaks to keep their brains focused when it's time to work! I would say at least one 5-10 minutes break per hour 👍🏻
