The sites below will direct you to databases that will provide you with a plethora of articles and information that will assist you in your research.

Note: For Galileo databases, you will need to get the Galileo password from the Media Center.

Science Research

Google Scholar

To use Google Scholar you simply type in what you are looking for, and you will see a list of results. The difference with Google Scholar is that your list of results will not contain websites trying to sell you a cell phone or articles about how to dress your dog for the holidays.

Google Scholar will produce a list of journal articles, pdfs, and websites focusing on much more credible and scholarly sources appropriate for a research paper.

National Science Digital Library

Destiny (online catalog for DHS)

This site will allow you to see what books we have in the DHS Media Center.

Mas Ultra (at EBSCOhost)

To access Mas Ultra you will need the Galileo password to access it.Once you have signed in, you will need to find the Mas Ultra database via the databases. This site is not specific to a given subject, so you can use it for a range of subjects.
