Have you been in the storage room in Mrs. Warpinski’s room? If you have, you probably have noticed a little dirt on the shelves, or on the floor. The reason behind this is a lot different than you may think.
The legend goes…
It happened 9 years ago here at HILL. One day this horrible smell appeared in the electives hallway. The staff thought it would go away, but it just kept getting worse, so finally they closed the hallway down, and called in some people to check it out.
The people sent a guy to check it out. He went into every room in the hallway looking everywhere for the source of this terrible smell. Finally he reached the band/orchestra room and said, “The smell is definitely coming from this room!” He walked into the storage room, was hit with an overwhelming, extremely sour odor, and decided to come back after the students were gone.
Later after everyone had gone home for the night, the guy from the cleaning company came back to school, grabbed the visitor pass from the front desk, and headed to the Band/Orchestra room to get rid of the smell so he didn’t have to worry about the chemicals causing any problems. So the man climbs up into the dirt room.
The next day, as the staff arrived at school, they realized that the visitor pass was gone but they assumed that this man had gotten in early to get a head start on his cleaning. Hours pass, and now it’s the end of the school day and the man still hasn't been seen, so the staff check the cameras from the last 24 hours.
As they are watching the cameras, they see the man walk into the Band/Orchestra room, however as they continue to watch the cameras suddenly go black. They fast forward about 20 minutes after the man is seen entering the room, and the cameras had begun to show footage again.
They watched up to the current moment and didn't see the man exiting the room, so they decided to call the company that the man worked for. They called the company and asked if they had seen the man today. The company looks through their records and tells the staff that they have no record of said man. The staff are confused because they know that the man existed because they had seen him many times that week. They tried calling other companies in the area but they all said the same thing. They gave up and assumed that the man had left during the time that the cameras had stopped working. A couple days later the smell disappeared.
