About Me
Hello! My name is Mr. Roberts and I'm happy to be teaching both Geometry and Advanced Algebra here at Northfield High School. This is my first year at NHS and second year teaching overall. I am incredibly excited to get to know all of my students and assist them in any way that I can!
I am originally from a small town in Northwestern Ohio called St. Marys. I graduated from the town's only high school, Memorial High School, where I excelled in Math and Science, but struggled in Language Arts and History. I also participated in football and basketball throughout high school, playing linebacker/fullback and point guard, respectively.
After high school, I attended The Ohio State University, where I earned both a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Master of Education. I am, and always will be, a die hard Buckeye fan and never miss a game. Go Bucks!
After graduating from tOSU in 2015, I moved to Denver to begin working for DPS. Since then, I've fallen in love with both the city and the mountains. In Denver, my girlfriend and I enjoy checking out the city's numerous parks, trails, and local eateries. In the mountains, we like to take our dog, Ryder, hiking and camping (especially on 14ers!) Additionally, I like to ski and snowshoe during the winter.
