OK goofballs, here's my recipe for my smoothie, as requested:*

  • 4 strawberries
  • frozen peaches (as desired)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • a hearty handful of spinach
  • a hearty handful of kale
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 banana

Blendy blend. Yum!

Mr. Cohen's Breakfast Specialty: Egg Sandwich

  • 1/2 TBSP butter or 1 tsp olive oil
  • Two slices of sandwich thin whole wheat bread, toasted
  • A thin slice of sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Spinach
  • 2-3 thin slices of tomato (optional)
  • Mayonaisse
  • Sriracha

Put butter/oil in pan over medium heat and cook egg over medium (or longer if desired). Mix a dollop of mayo with sriracha and spread thinly over 1 side of sandwich thin. Place cheese over this and the hot egg so that the cheese gets nice and melty. Finish with tomato, spinach, and the other sandwich bread slice. Enjoy!

Mr. Cohen's Vegan (I think) Oatmeal

  • dash of salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup plain oatmeal
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 granny smith apple, cored & diced
  • 1/4 dried sour cherries
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds

Add salt, water, oatmeal, and cinnamon to saucepan. Bring to a boil, then add apples, cherries, and chia seeds. Lid and remove from heat; let stand for at least 5 minutes. Enjoy!

  • something that has perished

Throw everything in a pot and put the lid on. Walk away. Nothing matters. We will all return to the dust someday.
