Visual Argument Assignment

Create a visual on a posterboard, a Google slide presentation, a video, a website, or another piece of visual artistry that makes a clear argument about a topic of your choosing. The piece should only contain brief written words that act as labels, explanations, or extensions of the visual depictions. Students should include a one- to two-paragraph explanation of their argument turned in separately or written on the back of the piece. Students should make the argument compelling enough and clear enough that this explanatory writing should not be necessary for their peers to understand the main idea. See examples in your textbook or consult Mr. Cohen for assistance with ideas or questions concerning your project. And don't forget, if you use an image, quote, or any other medium that you didn't create, please cite it!

Your visual argument project is due in class Friday, February 28.
