McFarland DECA hosted its first annual tailgate at their football game a few weeks ago. They sold plates of food, in addition to offering photo booths, yard games, music, face painting, and more! McFarland DECA donated $300 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Following the tailgate, they hosted a Miracle Minute at halftime, and donated the $393 they made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association!

This year, Hamilton DECA is introducing fresh approaches to welcome and involve new members. Their officers orchestrated a practice competition, providing valuable experience and growth opportunities for newcomers.

McFarland DECA traveled to Minneapolis for three days for their annual college tour trip, where they met with McFarland alumni attending UW Stout and University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Their chapter had 3 industry speakers from Aveda, Target, and Smile Back Vintage. They additionally participated in a retail scavenger hunt at the Mall of America. Lastly, their chapter split into groups to participate in a UW Stout industry challenge as an introduction to competition, concluding the trip by presenting to college students and professors!
