7th Grade Ancient History

Welcome to Mr. Hill's 7th grade Ancient History class. During your 7th grade year, you will be looking into the first signs of man, to the rising civilizations of China, Greece, and India. On this page you will find homework, test information, and notes that you may have missed during the day.

3rd Quarter:

  • Week of 2/13/17
    • What is a hero? Students will be looking at Greek Mythological Heroes and will begin reading about the "Four Seasons." Reading comprehension worksheet provided and will be checked daily.
    • Echo and Narcissus: 2nd Myth studied, Students will discuss what societal problem is solved with this story.

  • Test Wednesday over Ancient Chinese Culture
  • Introduction to Ancient Greece
  • Greek Mythology Project-Students will be picking a God or Goddess from Ancient Greece to research.
