I am an experienced educator with 25 years of experience teaching students from a variety of backgrounds, abilities, and learning needs. I hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education and have spent my career dedicated to helping students reach their potential. For the past five years, I have been proud to be part of the Dover High School community.
One of the things I value most as an educator is building strong, positive relationships with my students and their families. I believe that students are more successful when they know their teacher believes in them, supports them, and genuinely cares about their success.
I have high expectations for all of my students, while also recognizing that every student learns differently. I work to meet students where they are academically and personally, providing the support, encouragement, and structure they need to grow. I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and—when possible—fun! I bring energy, humor, and enthusiasm into my classroom, and after 25 years, I can honestly say that I love what I do and feel fortunate to be a teacher.
“Teachers who believe they can make a real difference in their students’ lives REALLY do.”
