Class overview
Welcome to K-5 general music! In general music, every student has the opportunity to explore and enjoy the world of music by singing, playing instruments, and discover other elements of music. This class is designed to foster a love for music, build foundational skills through a variety of engaging activities, as well as create competent musicians from a young age.
Chorus Overview
Chorus at EDE is for our 4th and 5th grade students. Chorus rehearses during the students general music class period.
Winter Concert- Thursday, December 10th at 6 pm in the DMS gymnasium
Spring Concert- Tuesday, May 18th at 6 pm in the DMS gymnasium
Recorders
In 3rd grade general music we spend a lot of time learning the recorder. Students will learn how to hold and name the parts of the recorder, how to play different notes and songs, and perform a concert in the Spring.
