Hello! My name is Eric Nicholson. I graduated from Lenape Valley Regional High School in 1999 before continuing my education at County College of Morris and earning my degree in Marketing from Kean University. My professional background includes medical device sales, where I worked primarily in operating-room settings, as well as spending years in hotel management. These roles provided me with a strong foundation in business, communication, customer service, and relationship building.
The 2026–2027 school year marks my first year teaching, and I am grateful for the opportunity to begin this new chapter at Dover High School. My goal is to bring real-world knowledge into the classroom while helping students develop practical skills, confidence, and an understanding of how the concepts they learn can apply to their future careers and everyday lives.
In the Dover High School 21st Century Skills Business Department, I will be teaching Introduction to Business, Personal Finance, and Marketing & Social Media Marketing. I look forward to creating a classroom environment where students can ask questions, think critically, explore their interests, and develop skills that will serve them well beyond high school.
Outside of the classroom, I will also be coaching boys soccer and boys basketball. While athletics have been an important part of my life, I see coaching as another opportunity to build relationships with students, encourage personal growth, and support them as they work toward their goals.
I am proud to be joining the Dover High School community and look forward to getting to know my students, supporting their growth, and helping them make the most of their high school experience.
During the 2026-2027 school year, I will be teaching Introduction to Business, Personal Finance, and Marketing & Social Media Marketing.
If you would like to speak or meet with me, I am available from 2:20-2:40PM on days when school is in session. I can also be reached via email 24/7.
