Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

In my first grade English World classroom, my goal is to help children grow as confident learners across English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. In English, students will practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing so they can share their ideas and build strong communication skills. In Social Studies, we focus on understanding family, community, and the world around us, encouraging students to respect others and see how people work together. In Science, children explore their natural curiosity through hands-on activities, learning to ask questions, make observations, and discover how things work in the world. Together, these subjects help students develop critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
