Thank you for choosing Dossifier ("Dossifier," "we," "our," or "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information. By accessing or using Dossifier, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by it.
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Data: Your name, business email address, job title, and organization, supplied by you when you create or manage an account.
Contact Intelligence: Biographical and professional details that you or your organization upload, copy‑and‑paste, or capture through our browser extensions.
Usage Data: Technical information that is generated automatically when you use Dossifier, such as log files, device identifiers, IP addresses, pages visited, features used, and error logs.
Support & Feedback: Content of any support requests, screenshots, survey responses, or other communications you choose to send us.
Payment & Billing Data: Your subscription tier, invoices, and transaction metadata. We do not collect, process, or store payment‑card numbers—this is handled exclusively by our third‑party payment processor (see § 8).
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data at rest and in transit (e.g., industry‑standard encryption, role‑based access controls, and regular backups). No method of transmission or storage is 100 % secure.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, or until you or your organization request deletion (whichever occurs first).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or download a copy of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Please email privacy@dossifier.com to exercise these rights.
Dossifier integrates with calendars, email providers, CRM platforms, data‑enrichment vendors, and payment processors. Your interactions with those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, not ours.
If you access Dossifier from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in—and subject to the laws of—the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.
All payment processing is handled exclusively by approved third‑party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Dossifier does not collect, process, transmit, or store your payment‑card numbers or banking credentials. Any financial information you provide is subject to those providers’ privacy policies and security controls. We disclaim all responsibility and liability for the acts, omissions, security, or privacy practices of such third parties.
Data Loss Due to Dossifier Incidents
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dossifier shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising out of or relating to the loss, corruption, or unavailability of data resulting from our acts, errors, omissions, or internal system failures (including maintenance, upgrades, or downtime).
Data Loss or Unauthorized Access Due to Hackers or Breaches
While we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information, we make no guarantee, express or implied, that unauthorized third parties (e.g., hackers) will never defeat our security measures. Dossifier disclaims all liability for any loss, theft, destruction, or disclosure of your data caused by cyberattacks, security breaches, or other malicious acts of third parties.
No Other Warranties
Dossifier is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Dossifier is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn that we have inadvertently received such information, we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through Dossifier’s user interface. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
