The Jesuit presence is not only felt in San Francisco but almost everywhere in the Bay Area, including San Mateo County. The University of San Francisco aims to teach its students the key Jesuit values and care for the whole person. Since arriving here at the University of San Francisco, I continue to see and feel the kindness of fellow students and their eagerness to help others, which stems back to the university's Jesuit heritage. My professors instill a similar sense of selflessness into me and my cohort members, and this inspires us to change the world and create a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
