Start creating your pitch deck ready for Tuesday.
Task 1: Cops and Robbers
Using a blank piece of paper and any colour felt tip, split your page into two sides- one side cops, the other robbers.
You are going to write down key words that you think we expect to see/ hear in your pitch -on the cops side within 3 minutes
Then you are going to spend 15 seconds each going round the room and stealing key words you didn't think of- on the robbers side

Task 2: Using Mark's advice you have 10 minutes to answer these questions/ explain your final idea in these terms.
Identify what it is you will be solving- is there a question or a problem?
Explain where the character/ narrative will lead, the adventure that will unfold.
Describe how it will be achieved, validate your idea and keep it feasible.
You get into an elevator with a producer - you have just 30 SECONDS to SELL your idea to them!
You have 10 minutes to plan your elevator pitch about your film and then 30 seconds to pitch it to the class and the teacher.
Other students will write down their thoughts for you on their white board to give you feedback on your pitch.

Recognise and label the 7 stages which will help to structure your own pitch.
Pitch Requirements
1) The Origin- Briefly say what inspired you
2) Human Hook- Why will the audience care
3) Characters- Who is this about?
4) Desires- What do they want?
5) Obstacles- What is in the way?
6) Highlights- What will stand out/ be memorable?
7) Open Road- Will there be more? Is it the end?
