You are making what should be the best representation of your time at the college from the past two years, you should be exploring and truly developing yourself as a filmmaker in this project.
Because of this, the aim should be to take your film to a festival and not just a random one but to Aesthetica. Why Aesthetica? Who are they? what films do they show? How can your film stand a chance ? what genre of their showing did you enjoy the most? By researching and exploring this you
The key with an initial idea, is that it never goes beyond a concept. This gives you a lot of flexibility, as you are only highlighting what the video could be...
Give yourself parameters and stick to them... FILM is full of parameters - genre and narrative are good starters.

What films have you seen similar to your concept, that can serve to discuss influence?
What styles are you interested in exploring for your concept? styles such as colour grading, camera techniques and lighting...
What themes are you going to explore for your concept? Your theme can be built into your critical perspectives project.
