Our June Pool Party is a fun summer event designed for dogs to splash, play, and enjoy time with other local pups in a supervised DGFR setting.
This is also a great opportunity for pet parents to visit DoGone Fun Resort, meet our team, experience our community atmosphere, and learn more about our daycare and boarding environment.
Whether your dog already knows us or you are just getting to know DGFR, this event is meant to be fun, welcoming, and easy to enjoy.
Guests can expect:
supervised splash time and play
kiddie pools and summer-themed fun
separate capacity limits for small/medium and large dogs
a relaxed community atmosphere
opportunities to meet other local dog owners
DGFR team members present throughout the event
photo and video opportunities
a chance to experience DoGone Fun Resort in a fun, low-pressure way
This event is designed for friendly, social dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and people in a group setting.
It may be a good fit if your dog:
enjoys supervised group play
is comfortable in new environments
can be around other dogs safely
enjoys water, pools, or playful summer activities
is current on required health documentation
This event may not be the best fit for dogs who are highly reactive, very nervous in group settings, uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs, or easily overwhelmed by active play environments.
If you are unsure whether this event is right for your dog, please contact our Guest Services team before registering. We are happy to help you think through whether this would be a good experience.
Advance registration is required for this event. Because space is limited, all dogs must be registered before attending.
Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Capacity is limited to:
up to 30 small/medium dogs
up to 15 large dogs
Registration is not confirmed until required health documentation has been submitted and reviewed.
If the event reaches capacity, we may maintain a waitlist and contact guests if space becomes available.
Please only register if you reasonably expect to attend so we can make spots available to other interested guests.
To help keep all dogs safe, participating dogs must have:
proof of current rabies vaccination
proof of a negative fecal test within the last 12 months
Documentation must be submitted before registration is confirmed.
First-time guests may be asked to provide additional basic information about their dog so our team can better understand whether the event is a good fit.
This event is best for dogs who are social, friendly, and comfortable in a supervised group environment.
Because this is an active event with other dogs present, it may not be the right fit for dogs who are reactive, aggressive, highly anxious, or easily overwhelmed.
If your dog is new to group settings or you are unsure whether they would enjoy the event, please reach out before registering. We would rather help you make the right decision than have your dog feel stressed or uncomfortable.
Dogs should arrive on leash and remain under owner control during check-in and any transition areas.
DGFR team members will be present to help supervise the event and support a safe, fun environment.
Owners are expected to remain attentive to their dogs and follow any staff direction during the event.
Please bring:
your dog’s leash
any required health documentation if not already submitted
water or a travel bowl if your dog has one they prefer
a towel if your dog enjoys getting wet
anything your dog may need to feel comfortable
Optional:
sunscreen or weather-appropriate items for yourself
a camera or phone for photos
a change of clothes if your dog is an enthusiastic splasher
DGFR may adjust the event setup depending on weather, temperature, safety, or facility needs.
If weather affects the event, we may move portions of the event indoors or adjust activities as needed.
If any major changes are needed, we will communicate updates to registered guests using the contact information provided during registration.
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for DGFR social media, marketing, and community sharing.
We love capturing fun moments from our events and sharing the joy of our DGFR community.
If you have a concern about photos or videos, please contact Guest Services before the event.
Pet parents are welcome to attend with their registered dog.
If additional family members or guests would like to attend, they must be included during registration before the event so we can plan appropriately for space, supervision, and the overall guest experience.
Because attendance is limited, we may not be able to accommodate unregistered guests at arrival.
Children are welcome but must remain supervised by an adult at all times. Since this is an active dog event, families should use good judgment about whether the event environment is a good fit for younger children.
Because we want this event to feel comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, attendance is limited.
If your plans change after registering, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible so another dog or family may have the opportunity to attend.
While this event is free, spots are limited and registration helps us plan staffing, space, supervision, and activities to create the best experience possible.
In rare situations, DGFR may need to adjust, reschedule, move portions of the event indoors, or cancel due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. If changes are needed, registered guests will be notified using the contact information provided during registration.
