Educational Background and Professional Experience: I attended Texas A&M University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in Special Education. This will be my 6th year teaching special education and my 1st year at Del Mar Heights. I previously taught in Texas in elementary a special education classroom.

I grew up in Houston, Texas and recently moved to San Diego with my husband, who is a Naval Aviator. I have one older sister, who is the mom to my 3 precious nieces. In my free time I enjoy reading, stitching, playing pickleball and trying all the outdoor hobbies California has to offer (surfing, skiing and hiking)!
