The Holmes Maker Space exists to bring the makers of Holmes County together to share knowledge used to make unique and creative projects.

Our next meeting is Monday June 10 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Model Rocketry Night! Bring your rockets, engines and launch equipment. Weather permitting, we will be outside for launches.

Each maker meeting is also a "show and tell" night. Bring your creations and show us what you've made. Anything from models to microcomputers to woodworking projects is welcome.

Meetings are held at The Gardens At Homestead across from Homestead Furniture just north of Mt. Hope. Address: 8226 State Route 241, Fredericksburg, OH 44627. They typically run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

If you have a 3D printer, CNC, or other equipment that you would like to bring along to demonstrate, please send an email so that we can have table space and power available for you.

For more information email info@holmesmakerspace.org or call 330-275-3672 and leave voicemail.

Tue-Wed June 11-12

TimeKeeper's Exchange watch and clock repair trade show.

The event is held in the Sprunger building at the Kidron Auction, 13071 Emerson Rd, Apple Creek, OH 44606.

Demonstrations are held on both days with projects on display and there is a flea market and auction on Tuesday evening for watches, clocks, parts and tools. A number of precision micro lathes are set up and used in the demonstrations.

Many of the attendees are from conservative Amish communities so the equipment is largely hand- and foot-powered.
