Mr. Denver Cho-oy is a Research Mentor of the STEM Department of DLSU-IS Senior High School Division. He took his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education majoring in Physical Science at Benguet State University. He also finished Master of Arts in Physics at the same university. Currently, he is taking Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education.
Before joining the pool of teachers of the De La Salle University Integrated School, he taught SHS science and research courses at a university in Baguio City. He also experienced teaching mathematics and science subjects in junior high school. He is also a national trainer of Senior High School Teachers with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC).
He is a licensed professional teacher and an aspiring social media content creator. Mr. Cho-oy began producing educational content for various audiences as social media and short-form video platforms grew in popularity. These short videos gained interest from students and teachers after being posted on TikTok and other platforms. He now explores other platforms for content creation. He also published a research paper exploring the experiences of teachers on TikTok.
