GENERAL MECHANICS
The ”TECH-TOK Challenge” is an educational and innovative video making competition where students create their “Tech-Tok” videos (similar to “ Tik-Tok”) related to the theme “Agham at Teknolohiya: Kabalikat sa Maunlad at Matatag na Kinabukasan”.
This event is open to all levels of Grade School students from private and public schools. Participating schools must choose at least 1-3 bona fide students to represent them in the competition per category.
Only the first 10 participants with complete requirements upon registration process will be accommodated in the contest. Official participating schools will receive a notice via email.
The final submission guidelines and rubric will be sent directly to the qualified participating schools.
The qualified participants should upload their entries in the official Google Drive folder on or before March 8, 2023. Only uploaded entries to the folder will be judged according to the criteria. Entries sent using other platforms will not be considered and accepted.
The file name should be in this format:
Name of School_Surname,FirstName_Gradelevel (e.g. "DLSU_Dela Cruz,Juan_4")
The criteria for judging are as follows:
Content 40%
Relevance to the Theme 30%
Adherence to the Mechanics 30%
The top three entries will receive the following:
TECHNICAL MECHANICS
A participating school can send 2 entries under the Math category.
Each entry should produce and submit an original video showcasing informative, engaging, and worthwhile concepts about Math.
The length of the video should not exceed two (2) minutes.
The “Tech-Tok Challenge” will adhere to the following standards:
a. Content should be about Grade School topics in Science, Technology, Robotics, and Mathematics that must be true and verified.
b. It can be in the form of a song, dance, poetry, and infomercial type of video, experiments, and innovations.
c. It should also be accurate and useful to society.
d. Each entry can be an individual or group performance.
e. The attire for the video should be decent and appropriate for the performance.
f. Music, lyrics, and language should also be school appropriate and decent at all times.
g. Language can be expressed in Filipino or English.
