GENERAL MECHANICS
With the advancement of technology, projects such as posters and other informative materials can be created using different online tools and resources. This event will challenge the participants to use their creative and innovative minds to create a masterpiece out of limited materials given related to the theme of the event.
This event is open to all levels of Junior High School students from private and public schools. Participating schools must choose one (1) bona fide student to represent them in the competition.
Only the first 30 participants with complete requirements upon registration process will be accommodated in the contest. Official participating schools will receive a notice via email.
The criteria for judging are as follows:
Overall Appearance - 30%
Creativity and Uniqueness - 30%
Concept and Relevance to the Theme- 40%
The top three students will receive the following:
TECHNICAL MECHANICS
The digital poster making will be held via zoom. The zoom link will be given to the participants before the day of the Interschool competition. Only the participants are allowed to join the zoom conference.
Participants must be in the designated zoom conference 5 minutes before the set time.
Thirty(30) images will be provided for the participants. The link to the images will be accessible during the contest proper. No other images shall be used other than the thirty(30) provided.
A minimum of ten(10) or more images must be utilized in the poster.
The theme must be incorporated into the poster via text/captions.
Any editing app/software/website on any device(PC/laptop/mobile phone/iPad etc.) may be used for editing the poster.
The photo orientation should be in landscape with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Participants will be given forty-five(45) minutes to create their poster.
After editing, the file name should be in this format:
Name of School_Surname,FirstName_Gradelevel (e.g. "DLSU_Dela Cruz,Juan_7")
Another five(5) minutes will be given for uploading the posters to the official Google drive folder to be given during the contest proper.
Only uploaded entries to the folder will be judged according to the criteria. Entries sent using other platforms will not be considered and accepted.
