Ms. Stephens

Welcome to my webpage. I would love to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised here in Johnstown where I grew up in the Catholic church. I began my education at Our Mother of Sorrows School where I learned all about my faith, and then graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School. I finished my education by earning my bachelors in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

After obtaining my degree I was a substitute teacher in Richland SD, North Star SD, and St. Andrew School. I taught one and a half years of preschool at Little Angel Learning Center in Visitation Parish and one year of kindergarten at St. Andrew School before becoming the kindergarten teacher here at Divine Mercy East. This year I will be teaching 5/6 grade Science and Religion.

I enjoy working with children and seeing how much they change from the beginning of the year until the end. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of the students in my classroom this year and every year and sharing in their many likes and talents.
