Daffodil International University(DIU) continuously fosters for quality education and engages students in all types of co-curricular activities. Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Daffodil International University (DIU CSE) is continuously trying to improve the quality of their students by igniting their creativity. And what better way to increase their creativity then programming. To promote programming among the students of DIU CSE, Head of the Department Prof. Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan is working relentlessly with all his colleagues. After a lot of hard work and continuous strive for hunger now we have a strong community of DIU programmers, a well recognized force in the programming community of Bangladesh. All of DIU Programmers (Current and Previous) are strongly connected through DIU ACM Solver Forum facebook community, where everyone helps each other to promote programming and programming related careers. Currently DIU ACM community has 5000+ members. Among these members some are establishing their career and some are our current students who are trying to join that battle with their help.

DIU CSE is continuously trying to host different ICPC, NCPC, NGPC, IUPC, BdOI and other programming contests to spread the vibe and passion of programming among the students. ICPC 2018, ICPC 2012 are special. Specially the 2018 ICPC which was hosted in the lush green campus of Daffodil International University's permanent campus. This was one of the biggest ICPC in ASIA region with a number of 295 teams from all over the country. DIU placed 25th there and in 2019 ICPC DIU came 22nd. It proves that we are improving and we want to improve more.
