The students will use chronological sequence of events to compare developments,  explain probable causes and effects of events, and use historical sources when gathering information.

The students will distinguish the responsibilities of government official,  examine the origins of rules and laws, and explain how policies are developed to address public problems.

The students will analyze how businesses around the world specialize and trade and determine the ways the government pays for goods and services.
