Callback Resources

(Not needed until after auditions)

Callback reminders:

• Read your post-audition email to find out if you are called back.

• If you are called back, you will find specific songs and scenes in your post-audition email.

• Use these callback resources to become familiar with your specific songs and scenes.

• You don't need to memorize anything. We will work through the songs and scenes together.

What to expect at callbacks:

• We use callbacks to gather more information about each actor. If you are called back, you will be asked to sing and to act out scenes that may be different from what you performed at your initial audition.

• Some actors may be "on stage" frequently and others may not. If the directors get the information they need, they will not have you continue to perform.

• Expect that you may spend some time watching other students perform at callbacks. Use this opportunity to show that you can be a supportive, patient, and respectful cast member. This is all part of the casting process, and it's a first step to bonding as a group.

Reminders:

• Please read the program information packet and complete the permission form & the audition application prior to auditioning.

• Sign up for an audition time using the link above.

• Prior to auditioning, learn:

  • The audition dance ~ use the videos above and/or attend an optional audition workshop.

  • Two songs (provided in the audition info packet)

  • One scene (provided in the audition info packet)
