Course Description
A research and exploration based course for juniors and seniors. Students study the 16 Career Clusters and investigate individual interests. Self-discovery through personality and interest inventories helps guide career path consideration. Students have the opportunity to conduct a job shadow for a realistic understanding of their career choice. Students also research post-secondary options including two and four-year colleges, vocational programs, and military training. Students become familiar with FAFSA, grants, and scholarships while also developing their researching, questioning, interviewing, and presenting skills. Guest speakers and college recruiters will present appropriate topics through out the semester.
Restrictions: Students cannot be concurrently enrolled in Cooperative Education.
