Enrichment Overview
Enrichment is made up of four core classes: Music, Art, P.E. and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Ms. Chopp teaches Music, Ms. Mandile teaches Art, Ms. Becker teaches P.E., and Ms. Goodrich teaches SEL. At times, these classes may combine for richer learning. Additionally, grades 5-8 will opt into Electives to explore a specific enrichment topic in depth.
Enrichment is a time to foster creativity, joy, and a sense of belonging. We are all extremely excited for another amazing year at WB! Below, you can find more information about each teacher, their class, and how to connect more deeply with each of us!

About Ms. Chopp
Hey WB! My name is Ms. Chopp, and I am your music teacher! This is my 3rd year at CICS West Belden. Together we will continue to explore all the ways we can be musical together, even when learning remotely. I look forward to singing, dancing, playing, and creating with you this school year. I'm always here for you, music and otherwise, so reach out if you have any questions, or just want to chat :)

Hi there! My name is Ms. Mandile and I will be teaching Art this year! This is my second year at CICS West Belden. In your art class, we will experiment with different materials and artistic topics to create your own works of art. I am beyond excited to see what amazing things we will accomplish this year together! I am always happy to help, so reach out to me if you need anything!

Hi WB! I am Mrs. Becker, and I am your P.E. teacher. This is my 3rd year at CICS West Belden, and my 9th year as a P.E. teacher. I am so excited to explore new ways to stay active at home with you during remote learning and throughout the 2020-21 school year. We are truly better together, so feel free to reach out to me about anything.

About Ms. Goodrich
Hi! I am Ms. Goodrich and I will be your SEL teacher this year! You may recognize me as your old Kindergarten teacher, this is my 7th year at West Belden. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years, and I am trying something new teaching SEL Enrichment! I am so excited to learn and grow with each of you as we explore our feelings, talk about current events, and build relationships with one another. I am here anytime you need someone to talk to, someone to listen, or just to have a good laugh.

Puede que me reconozcan como su antigua maestra de kindergarten, este es mi séptimo año en West Belden. ¡Enseñé Kindergarten durante 6 años y estoy intentando algo nuevo enseñando el enriquecimiento de SEL!
