The Corner store is a way to celebrate student growth, positive behaviors, work completion, and class engagement while teaching students the value of hard work and growth. We wanted to create a safe corner store experience on campus for our students that motivates their growth and supports life skill building in earning, managing and saving currency.

Behaviors celebrated reflect our CREATIVE character framework. (Community, Resilience, Excellence, Accountability, Tenacity, Identity, Voice, Empathy) It allows us to focus on recognizing positive contributions to the community rather than punitive responses to undesirable behaviors. Our goal is to have these behaviors be a part of the students' habits where motivations are intrinsic. The AIM Corner store is a co-creation of staff and students. As our store model grows, students will be able to design merch, manage inventory and grow its offerings to bring our community together.
