The executive committee is elected by majority vote of members attending the Annual Meeting. The Annual meeting for 2025 is on May 20th at 6:00 pm.
The role of the Executive Committee is to transact the business of the PTO, establish and approve the budget for the fiscal year, establish the standing committees, approve the plans of work for the standing committees, and approve routine bills within the budget. Role specific tasks can be viewed here and can be shifted dependent on the specific skills of each committee.
President-May not serve more than four consecutive terms. The president shall chair all meetings of the Organization and of the Executive Committee. The President coordinates the work of the officers and committees of the organization.
Vice-President- May not serve more than four consecutive terms. The Vice-president shall chair meetings if the President is not available and will perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Committee
Secretary- May serve as many terms as elected. The secretary shall keep a full and accurate record of the minutes of all meetings of the Organization and Executive Committee
Treasurer- The Treasurer may serve as many terms as elected. The treasurer shall keep a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures; and shall make disbursements in accordance with the approved budget as authorized by the Organization or the Executive Committee.
