Dear Diamond Lake School Families,

We’re excited to celebrate the season together at our annual Diamond Lake School Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31st at 8:15 a.m. Weather permitting, the parade will take place outside, and families are welcome to join us and enjoy the fun! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll share an alternate rain plan the morning of the event.

Please remember not to park in the fire lane when visiting the school.

Classroom Halloween parties will be organized by teachers, and more details will be shared in their weekly newsletters as we get closer to the event.

📅 Attendance Fact: Every school day matters! Missing just one day every two weeks adds up to nearly a month of lost learning over the course of a school year. Regular attendance helps students keep up, feel confident, and stay connected to their classmates and teachers.

D76 CARES: At D76, the well-being of our students and families is our top priority. Understanding the critical role mental health plays in student success, we have launched D76 CARES - a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving access to quality mental health services across our community. D76 CARES stands for Community, Advocacy, Resilience, Engagement, and Support. Treatment services are initially provided free of charge to district families for up to 8 sessions. • Winter Clothing Drive- Our Winter Clothing Drive is running through November 7. We are collecting new hats, gloves and scarves.  Additionally, we are accepting gently used coats, snow pants, boots or Hoodies.  Donation boxes will be available at each school office. 

• SAVE THE DATE- Ice Cream day is coming Tuesday November 11th.  We will need volunteers for DLS and WOIS.  Look for flyers and sign ups soon.  

• Next DINE OUT- Thursday November 13th from 5:00-8:00 pm at Portillos

• Next PTO Meeting- Tuesday Nov 18th, 2025 6:00-7:00pm Diamond Lake Elementary School Library.
