Dear Diamond Lake School Families,
Welcome to a brand-new school year at Diamond Lake School! We are so excited to welcome your child back into our building, and we can’t wait for all the learning, laughter, and growth that lies ahead. The first days of school are always filled with energy and anticipation—and we’re ready to make this year one of connection, achievement, and joy.
One of the most important ways you can help your child succeed this year is by ensuring they come to school each and every day. When students attend school regularly, they feel connected, stay on top of their learning, and build the routines that help them thrive academically and socially. Every day really does count!
Here’s how you can help:
Set a consistent bedtime and morning routine to make school mornings smoother.
Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible.
Communicate with the office if your child must be out—we’re here to help.
Talk to your child about the importance of showing up and being part of their learning community.
This year, we’ll be celebrating strong attendance with fun classroom goals, recognition, and some special surprises along the way. Our goal is to help students see that showing up isn’t just important—it’s something to be proud of!
Thank you for being our partners in making this a successful year for your child. We are so glad to be on this journey with you.
Let’s have a wonderful start to the year—and remember: Every day at DLS matters!
Keep shining and #SparkleOn,
Mrs. Sunny Morley
