Dear Families,
We had a great week here at Diamond Lake School! It’s been wonderful to see students engaged in learning and enjoying time with their classmates. As we head into the weekend, here are a few important updates and reminders:
🎶 First Grade Concert – Tuesday, April 15
Our first graders are excited to showcase their hard work and talent at their upcoming concert! Please join us on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00 PM for a joyful evening of music and celebration.
📅 No School – Friday, April 18 & Monday, April 21
There will be no school next Friday, April 18 or Monday, April 21. We hope you enjoy the long weekend with your family!
🧥 Dress for the Weather
Although we’re moving into spring, the weather during recess is still quite chilly. Please help your child remember to wear a coat each day to stay warm and comfortable during outdoor recess.
Last night, we were thrilled to host our Kindergarten Orientation and meet so many of our incoming kindergarteners and their families! It was wonderful to see such excitement and energy as we prepare to welcome the Class of 2034 to Diamond Lake School. If you were unable to attend—or know someone who has a child entering kindergarten next year—please see the attached information from last night’s event. Feel free to share it with any family who may have a future kindergartener joining us. We can’t wait to welcome all of our new learners to DLS!
Thank you for your continued partnership. Have a safe and restful weekend!
Warmly,
Mrs. Sunny Morley
Principal, Diamond Lake School
