Hello third grade families!

My name is Mrs. Cube and I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This will be my 12th year teaching at Prairie Grove! We have the best community. I look forward to working together as a team to make sure your child succeeds. Third grade is so special and together, we are going to have a wonderful year! 

I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I also have my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership through Concordia University. I love learning new things! I hope to inspire your child to become a lifelong learner this year. 

I strongly believe in open lines of communication between parent, teacher, and school. Communication is so important in supporting your child, so please feel free to contact me at any time. You can email me or call my classroom phone. During the school day, I am best reached by email as my classroom phone will go directly to voicemail.  I am also more than happy to schedule a conference with you and your child if the need arises. I will also reach out from time to time to fill you in on all the amazing things happening  with your child at school! I'm so excited to get to know your child & family this year!

Outside of PG, I live in McHenry with my husband, Cory & our two dogs, Mila & Maverick.  We love spending time outside on the lake, trying new restaurants, playing games and hanging out with our family and friends! We are also an big hockey family- Go Blackhawks! I am looking forward to a great year!
